Over the years the park has grown with many buildings added. For the last few years after each new one we have said we have everything now. Last year we added a full sized public hall and an original fettler’s hut
which had been used as a Sunday School room in Werrimull. The hall has a ramp for access but is not set up to our liking yet, and the hut is definitely a work in progress being badly in need of a coat of paint
and is yet to be put on stumps. We get older and wiser each year, but not younger and fitter so these things take time!
The park is open every day and we have many appreciative visitors, who enjoy their look around, leave lovely comments in our visitors’ book and hopefully at least a gold coin donation towards our ongoing maintenance.
Many groups also visit, some appreciating a guide or light catering, which we can usually manage with enough warning. Recent visitors have included school groups, the elderly live-wires from Broken Hill,
Vintage car clubs and often families with Millewa roots searching for information.
